The Tapo C520WS combines a 1/3 inch Progressive Scan CMOS Starlight Sensor with a large F1.6 aperture lens to deliver enhanced image performance in both daytime and low light environments. Supporting a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and up to 12× digital zoom, the camera captures detailed footage while integrated 3DNR and WDR technologies improve image clarity, reduce noise, and balance exposure across challenging lighting conditions.

The camera supports both WiFi and wired Ethernet connectivity, allowing deployment flexibility based on installation requirements and network infrastructure. Dual high performance antennas help extend wireless coverage in open environments, while the integrated 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port provides a stable wired connection when required. Beyond standard mobile application monitoring, the Tapo C520WS supports RTSP and ONVIF protocols for integration with compatible network video recorders, video management platforms, and third party surveillance systems.
