The SG3452X Omada 48 Port Gigabit L2+ Managed Switch with 4 10GE SFP+ Slots is designed to provide dense Gigabit connectivity with high speed uplink capability. It includes forty eight RJ45 ports that support 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps operation and four 10G SFP+ slots that enable high bandwidth aggregation. The switch is suitable for networks that require reliable throughput for data transport, device connectivity, and uplink performance.

The switch operates within the Omada SDN platform which provides centralized cloud based management through the Omada app or web interface while still supporting standalone management through a web based GUI, CLI, SNMP, and RMON. It is intended for business environments that require structured traffic control, VLAN separation, static routing, and advanced multicast handling.

High Capacity Switching and 10G Uplink Performance
The SG3452X supports a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 130.94 Mpps which enables consistent forwarding of high volume network traffic. The four 10G SFP+ uplink slots support fiber based aggregation for higher bandwidth interconnection to core switches or distribution layers and the 12 Mbit packet buffer accommodates burst traffic to maintain stability. The inclusion of jumbo frame support up to 9 KB allows efficient transport of large data packets in storage or server related environments.

Advanced Layer 2 and Layer 2 Plus Control
The switch supports a comprehensive set of L2 and L2+ functions including static routing for IPv4 and IPv6, DHCP server and relay functions, link aggregation for load sharing, spanning tree protocols for loop prevention, and loopback detection to maintain topology stability. Multicast handling includes IGMP snooping, MLD snooping, multicast VLAN registration, and multicast filtering which supports large scale video or multicast distribution networks. These functions allow structured segmentation and organized traffic paths suitable for enterprise deployments.

Integrated Security and Centralized Management
Security capabilities include IP MAC Port binding, ARP inspection, DHCP snooping, source guard for IPv4 and IPv6, DoS defense, port security, AAA support including TACACS+, 802.1X authentication, and storm control for broadcast and multicast regulation. ACL features support filtering at MAC, IP, IPv6, and packet content levels for controlled traffic flows. The switch supports management through web GUI, console based CLI, SNMP versions 1 to 3, RMON monitoring, LLDP and LLDP MED, dual image capability, and automation features such as DHCP AutoInstall.
