Omada Fast Ethernet PoE+ Extender

The POE10E (TL-POE10E) is a specialized Omada Fast Ethernet PoE+ Extender designed to significantly extend the reach of a Power over Ethernet network connection. It features two 10/100 Mbps ports, enabling both data and power transmission over a single Ethernet cable. This extender is fully compliant with the 802.3af/at standards, ensuring compatibility with standard PoE and PoE+ Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) and Powered Devices (PD).

This device operates as an unmanaged network accessory, defined by its Plug and Play configuration model that requires no software, user interface setup, or external power source. It automatically integrates with a network to extend power and data to compliant devices, making it an ideal, simple solution for long-distance surveillance and remote cabling requirements in both Omada and standalone deployments.

The POE10E's primary function is to overcome the 100 m distance limit of standard Ethernet cabling without the need for additional power outlets. It supports an extended transmission distance of 250 m
in 10 Mbps mode or 100 m in 100 Mbps mode. This capability is crucial for surveillance scenarios where IP cameras or Access Points need to be located far from the central switch or injector.

Robust PoE+ Power Budget and Standard Compliance
The extender is engineered to reliably power downstream devices by providing up to 20 W
of PoE output power. This budget meets the consumption requirements of the majority of standard and high-resolution IP cameras and basic PoE Access Points. Its universal 802.3af/at
compliance ensures seamless power negotiation with all compliant Power Sourcing Equipment and Powered Devices.

Effortless Plug and Play Deployment
The device requires no configuration and operates entirely via power passed through the PoE-IN port, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. Its extremely compact dimensions (2.33 x 0.85 x 0.52 in) and wide environmental operating temperature range (0 degrees C to 45 degrees C) allow for discreet and flexible installation in various indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.
