This kit includes four EAP610-Outdoor access points and one OC200 Hardware Controller.

Operating within the Omada Software Defined Networking platform, the kit provides centralised management through cloud-based or local deployment options. The included OC200 Hardware Controller enables unified configuration, monitoring, firmware management, and policy enforcement across connected Omada devices. Each EAP610-Outdoor access point delivers up to 1,201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band using IEEE 802.11ax technology, providing a combined wireless capacity of 1.8 Gbps. Support for OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Beamforming, and high-power amplification improves wireless efficiency and enables simultaneous communication with multiple devices. The access points support more than 250 concurrent client connections and utilise external dual-band antennas rated at 4 dBi on 2.4 GHz and 5 dBi on 5 GHz to maximise coverage and signal quality.

Rugged Deployment and Flexible Installation

Designed for demanding outdoor environments, the EAP610-Outdoor features an IP68-rated weatherproof enclosure that protects against dust, moisture, and harsh environmental conditions. Each unit incorporates a Gigabit Ethernet interface supporting both IEEE 802.3at PoE and Passive PoE, simplifying installation across large sites where local power may not be available. High-power amplifiers and professional antenna design enable extended wireless coverage across open outdoor areas while maintaining stable network performance.

Centralised Omada SDN Management and Scalability

The included OC200 Hardware Controller supports management of up to 100 Omada access points, 10 Omada routers, 20 Omada switches, and selected GPON OLT devices. Administrators can manage the network through cloud access, the Omada mobile application, or the web-based interface. Features such as zero-touch provisioning, batch configuration, automatic device discovery, intelligent monitoring, and centralised firmware management streamline deployment and ongoing administration. Omada Mesh technology further extends wireless coverage through seamless wireless backhaul connectivity between compatible access points.

Security, Roaming and Network Resilience

The solution incorporates multiple authentication mechanisms, captive portal functionality, access control policies, wireless isolation, and rogue access point detection to maintain network security. Fast Roaming technology allows connected users to move between access points without interruption to voice calls, video streams, or active applications. Additional resilience features include load balancing, intelligent client distribution, abnormal event notifications, real-time topology monitoring, and multi-site management capabilities through the OC200 controller, ensuring reliable operation across large and distributed wireless environments.
