The Carbonator 3 is a groundbreaking sparkling water maker with a stainless-steel enclosure, in a modern, rough-textured Matte Grey finish. As with our other sparkling water makers, the Sand edition has the same seamless, minimalist stainless-steel enclosure, premium materials, overhauled internal safety valve system, and stainless steel precision nozzle for a smooth, controlled spray beam.

This sparkling water maker is designed to bring the invigorating feel of the coast to your kitchen counter for years to come.To ensure a long life, our engineers custom-built a device that automatically tests Carbonator 3 for over 10 000 cycles. The engineers identified parts that were potentially sensitive to repeated use over time, and subsequently developed and adapted the machine throughout the testing process.

Compatible with 400-425g/60L CO2 cylinders from Sodastream (not Quick Connect), AGA, Linde, and many other standard gas cylinders approved for use with sparkling water makers. 

One CO2 cylinder used to power the Aarke Carbonator will provide you with around 60 refills of our PET Water Bottle. So, if you're regularly drinking sparkling water, the Aarke home carbonation system can reduce the size of your recycling pile by almost 100 small single use plastic bottles per cylinder.

One PET Water Bottle can replace thousands of single-use plastic bottles. Made from food-grade virgin PET, non-toxic and BPA-free, and the perfect complement to the Aarke Carbonator 3.

Instructions
1. Fill your bottle up to the fill line (with fresh, clean water only) and attach to the soda machine.
2. Push the stainless steel lever and hold until you hear a buzz, then release and unscrew the bottle from the machine.
3. Enjoy your endless supply of sparkling beverages!

Frequently Asked Questions

• Can the Aarke Glass Bottle Pro be used with Carbonator 3?

No. The glass bottle is designed to be used solely with the Carbonator Pro. The glass bottle is not compatible with Carbonator 3. The reason is that any product involving the use of gas and pressure systems in combination with glass, requires a chamber covering the glass bottle during the carbonation process. The Carbonator 3 does not have a chamber (since it is not necessary for a sparkling water makers developed for a PET bottle). A glass bottle should never be used in the Carbonator 3.

• Does the sparkling water maker need electricity to work?

No outlet needed--our sparkling water makers are cordless and electricity-free.

• Is there any way to increase the level of carbonation in my water?

You can pump the lever an unlimited number of times to achieve more carbonated water. We recommend 1-3 pumps for best carbonation results. Cheers!

• Is the Aarke PET Water Bottle recyclable?

Yes. At the end of its lifetime you can unscrew the bottom metal part, remove the cap and recycle the components separately.

• Is PET plastic safe to use for drinking water?

Yes. We only use food-grade, virgin PET. This means that our bottles are non-toxic, BPA-free and do not contain any harmful chemicals. Our bottles have also been tested and approved according to the German LFGB standard, California Prop 65 and FDA CFR 21.
